Gabriela Amon is a Multimedia Artist from the San Diego and Los Angeles County area in California. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in the spring of 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in Multimedia Art. Growing up at the intersection between American and Brazilian culture, Gabriela has always been interested in alternative forms of communication for when ideas don’t translate. As a result, she loves to explore how to express memories and emotions through her art.

 

In a rebellion against an ever-graying world, Gabriela uses bold colors and whimsical imagery in her work in an effort to give rise to more heart, inspiration, and imagination. She enjoys genres such as fantasy, surrealism, and the “uncanny.” Her work is not restricted to any one particular medium, and she loves experimenting with new forms of art. Some of her favorite mediums to work in include film, photography, computer graphics and digital design, typography, and collage.

Since the beginning of her career, Gabriela has worked in film production as an Art Director, an independent artist and photographer, art teacher, graphic designer, and more. Gabriela work has been featured in the 2023 Prague International Exhibition, Artspace Innovations: The London Underground, The Holy Art Gallery: Best American Virtual Art Exhibit, and more.
